This Hatha Yoga class focuses on alignment especially through the use of props. The asanas are held longer to create body awareness, connect with the breath, practicing a gradual awareness of the bandhas and concentration. The aim of this class is to create the base for a solid practise and to systematically cultivate strength, flexibility, and awareness, and can be therapeutic for specific conditions.

The class is open for all levels.

Benefits: On the physical level this practice improves i.a. balance and flexibility, increases strength and life force. Furthermore, it stimulates the cardiopulmonary function, the digestive, nervous, and endocrine system. Benefits on other levels include a deeper sense of awareness, increased self-confidence and well-being as well as a calm and integrated mind.

Please bring your own medium sized towel (mandatory) and if possible, your own mat. To follow the current legislation, please do arrive with a mask – just for the narrow entrance space, but certainly not for your enjoyable practice on your mat. Make sure to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. The door will be locked with the start of the class.
