This Hatha Yoga class focuses on alignment especially through the use of props. The asanas are held longer to create body awareness, connect with the breath, practising a gradual awareness of the bandhas and concentration. The aim of this class is to create the base for a solid practice and to systematically cultivate strength, flexibility, and awareness and can be therapeutic for specific conditions.

The class is open to all levels.

Benefits: On the physical level this practice improves i.a. balance and flexibility, increases strength and life force. Furthermore, it stimulates the cardiopulmonary function, the digestive, nervous, and endocrine system. Benefits on other levels include a deeper sense of awareness, increased self-confidence and well-being as well as a calm and integrated mind.
