The practice of Yoga is an instrument for the mind: it requires attention, focus and concentration. Especially in the IYENGAR Yoga method, one can only be in the body and in its actions. Precise instructions, tailored for each and every participant, lead you to experience the yogic postures (asanas) in a deeper level of understanding.
As a result, body and mind integrate.
Luísa Geraldes is an Intermediate Junior I IYENGAR Yoga teacher with more than ten years of teaching experience.
She’s been practicing Yoga for more than fifteen years and has traveled several times to India to both deepen her knowledge of Vedānta and Yoga vision and to practice yoga.
