Akhanda means entire or whole, the intention is to offer a holistic and balanced form of Yoga. Further the Akhanda Yoga approach emphasizes a balanced class including a full repertoire of yoga techniques. An Akhanda Yoga class is structured to systematically, yet artfully, align the physical, energetic, mental/emotional and intuitive self through the five elements of practice; asana, pranayama, meditation, mantras and appropriate relaxation.

Akhanda Yoga balances a commitment to body mechanics with guidelines for inner inquiry. Even during challenging postures, students are encouraged to smile, thus making non-competition and contentment true aspects of the practice.

Puck who did her 500 hour advanced Yoga teacher training in Akhanda Yoga at their Ashram in Rishikesh will teach this 90 min class on Sundays at 9.30am.
